This Caltagirone Fangotto, Decoro Elefante Mono Blue is the traditional Sicilian deep plate: in the center, a stylized elephant seen from the front, with a spiral trunk and a caparison embroidered with flowers and lace; stylized flowers, scrolls and dots alternate on the brim. Everything is painted by hand in blue on a white background, with a blue rim and blue lines. It can be hung on the wall or used as a catchall or as a serving plate for cold food.

Turning, Drying, First firing, Enamelling, Decoration and Aging .
