This Caltagirone Fangotto, Decoro Pesci is the high-rimmed deep plate of the Caltagirone tradition: in the center, painted by hand, a stylized fish whose head is formed by two faces in profile, with scales in geometric patterns in red, green, blue and yellow; on the brim, stylized flowers in blue, green, red and yellow alternate with small circles, between blue lines. It can be used as a serving plate for cold food, as a centerpiece, as a catchall or hung on the wall.
