The Caltagirone Sognia Head Lamp, Matte Face turns the Sognia female head into a table lamp: the dark, matte face, with closed eyes and a serene smile, is wrapped in a turban with a rose-shaped knot in the antique mother-of-pearl finish. On her earlobes she wears large gold hoop earrings, and on her neck a pendant of golden and amber beads. The head is shaped and decorated by hand by Ceramiche Sofia.

The manufacturing process that leads to the creation of our ceramics is divided into six important phases:
Turning, Drying, First firing, Enamelling, Decoration and Aging .
